R. Damon Ward is an Operating Partner at Catalyze Dallas where he works to create value through the spin-out of intellectual property, including assets, manufacturing technology, and patents. Ward concurrently serves as the Executive Chairman of Metro Aerospace, the first Catalyze Dallas affiliate company established in 2016.

Before his time working with Catalyze Dallas and Metro Aerospace, Ward founded Business Air where he was the active President from 2001 to 2014 and the CEO from 2014 to 2018. In these positions, Ward made Business Air a recognized national leader in corporate aircraft charter and management with locations in Dallas/Fort Worth, Seattle and San Antonio.

Previous to this accomplishment, Ward co-founded Jet Associates, where he took on the role of Executive Vice President from 1995 to 2001. During his time with Jet Associates, Ward facilitated sales transactions and aircraft movements through different locations around the world. He also directed more than 65 aircraft transactions globally with transactions valued in excess of $250 million.

From 1993 to 1995, Ward took on the role of Business Development Director at Dallas Avionics, Inc. While in this position, Ward created a financial accountability matrix for the sales team and developed the first digital catalog for the company driving a 12% increase in sales on annual revenues of $32 million.

Ward also acted as the Executive Vice President of Midway Aviation, Inc. from 1987 to 1993 where he specialized in air and ground transportation of checks and bank documents throughout the southern United States. During his time there, he also created and implemented a growth strategy that grew the fleet from 2 to 15 aircraft in two years.
